I.S.E.O. CONFERENCES
the panel of the speakers the audience of the conference in the Old Church in Clusane
Economy needs to believe in growth without forgetting ethics and human values: this is the formula expressed by prof. Solow and Prof. Ernst at the conference held in Clusane d’Iseo on the 24th of June.

On one side the Swiss professor, who obtained the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1991, for whom the urgent matter now is to cut the world’s consumption, on the other the economist Solow, who won the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1987, encouraging the world economic growth just using raw materials and eco-compatibles technologies.

The conference, which took places during the 10th anniversary of the institute, was also attended by the chairman of the Kiel Institute for World Economy Dennis Snower and by prof. Piergiorgio Odifreddi from Turin University.
